Introducing Michael Byrne

Michael, a fellow Boltonian and musician, is shown here with his copy. This is the very first hardback copy of 'When Life Meets Death'. As well as being the bass guitarist with well-known UK Punk band 'AKA Punk', Michael is also a photographer and he took the image of 'The Wild Mouse' at Blackpool Pleasure Beach that accompanies the story 'Mind Your Head'. Michael kindly provided it for inclusion within the book, as depicted on the right.

Here's how the 'Weasel' story begins........

The first part of the trilogy.........

Crime Fiction

Here is a short video to show what awaits between the pages.....

Taster Video

Whilst not wanting to spoil the storyline, here is a short taster video just to set the scene and let you know what an exciting read lies in store for you......

Robert H Page was born in Bolton, Lancashire in May 1963. He served his apprenticeship at British Aerospace Dynamics in Horwich and worked there for ten years. His career then moved into IT and then into ERP. One constant throughout his life is music. A keen musician, he started as a keyboard player gigging with a Hammond. He moved onto bass guitar and then latterly to drums. He now plays bass guitar and sings with North West based Rock Band 'Total Affect'. As well as writing that is! He started writing in 2015.

So why write a book?

His literary aspirations only came to the fore after many years of reading crime fiction and watching crime fiction on TV. Rather than suggest changes to existing stories he decided to gather his own ideas and write crime fiction novels of his own. His style is fast-paced, no-nonsense, twisting and turning, can't put it down type stories with the emphasis firmly on the storyline. It's all about the story.

Introducing the second volume of the trilogy entitled 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Weasel'

‘Bang Goes The Weasel’ told the story of how, in a few short weeks, Annie Montgomery’s life had transformed from her being a young, defenceless victim to an accomplished murderer; serial killer if you are being precise. Her apprenticeship had been short, but she had learned a lot from her master. Then when she had the qualifications she needed to embark on the next phase of her life, she turned from a caterpillar into a butterfly, consuming her master in the process. This is the continuing story featuring some of the characters, those who made it to the end of the first book! It shows how life goes on, whatever is thrown at you. To move upwards you need to re-invent yourself, accept new challenges, hone your skills and meet your goals. This next stage of the leading character's life will see them learn new skills whilst assuming new identities. But the common thread is the trail of death and destruction that follows thm. But this isn’t all that is following them. They must run quickly and use her guile and charm if they are to evade the bird of prey that silently swoops down. When you play with the big boys you have to accept the consequences.  Released on 4th December 2020     https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08P26R5YK

Introducing the third and final volume of the trilogy entitled 'Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Weasel Gone?'

'Oh Where, Oh Where Has My Little Weasel Gone' concludes the trilogy and continues the story of how one determined, young woman can take on organised crime. The best form of defence is attack and nobody expects to be attacked by a dead person. But dead people can move unseen, dead people can inflict pain, torture and havoc, even when they aren't really dead. Whilst the police can no longer help her, the required action concludes with another car chase, this time from London to the quaint Scottish village of Arrochar, up to Inveraray and then back down to London. Set in England and Scotland, the concluding part of the trilogy sees our leading lady leave behind a trail of death and destruction in order to wreak her revenge and in doing so she achieves far more than the police ever could. Released on 11th March 2021    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Where-Has-Little-Weasel-Gone/dp/B08YDRV1CZ
